Keynote Speaker
How Not To Age
Physical activity in midlife and beyond
We are delighted to host our first ever session focusing on physical activity, particularly on its benefits in midlife and beyond. This session will address integrating exercise prescription into medical care, including for those undergoing treatment for cancer. An inspiring leadership coach, who also happens to be a multiple-world record cyclist, a world-champion triathlete, and a true adventurer, will help us to consider our ‘why’ when it comes to exercise and movement. An expert dietitian will then guide us through fuelling ourselves as older active individuals, and this session will be completed with a discussion of the profound positive impact that physical activity can have on our bone health.
