Our second one-day online conference was another resounding success with over 200 attendees from all areas of healthcare joining live or on catch up.
The program included nutrition and lifestyle medicine strategies for immune health, cancer survivorship and brain health. We also had a special epidemiology session and a keynote talk by Dr Ayesha Sherzai.
“ Feedback from our attendees:
I joined as a part of my IBLM certification, but I will definitely return another year. It is easy to participate from home, yet you still feel like part of the plantbased community. Lots of new research, lots of inspiration.

NLMC 2024
London 9th September
Our first NLMC conference held at the impressive Fetal Research Institute in Denmark Hill was sold out. Featuring a range of expert speakers the sessions covered gut health, mental health and well-being, weight management and the ever-challenging subject of behaviour change.
With a delicious whole-food plant-based buffet lunch and healthy snacks, attendees were nourished all day long. And with lots of networking opportunities, delegates left with a smile, full of inspiration and new ideas.
“ Here’s what our attendees had to say
A fantastic conference with so much useful information about whole food plant based diets and their impact on our health. Great for health for professionals and people in general as there is so much to learn about how we can improve our health and wellbeing now and for the future.
Inspiring conference, especially great to be amongst colleagues who are using LM in their practice across specialities and all health sectors. Very friendly atmosphere, easy to interact with speakers in between talks throughout the day who were all very friendly and keen to share their expertise and hear about how we are using LM in our practice.
The Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine Conference is a unique event. It’s unlike any other clinical and health-oriented event I have attended. The event’s openness to include diverse speakers, topics, patient stories and relevant non-clinical content is truly admirable. It helped me reconnect with experts and make new friends, and also soak in an entire day of deep learning reminding me on how to live my life dialed up to my highest purpose!

The VegMed conferencing brand started in 2012 and is Europe’s largest conference dedicated to plant-based nutrition. This year was no different. The conference featured over 40 speakers from the fields of medicine, nutrition and research and brought attendees up to date on the science and practice of plant-based nutrition. Topics covered ranged from clinical practice, managing chronic conditions, public sector catering, medical education, community cooking, behaviour change, policy implementation and more. The content was designed to be applicable and accessible to health professionals and non-health professionals alike.
